Kubatana Divas Organisation is a nongovernmental
organisation which was established in 2009 to
provide psychosocial and rehabilitation to orphans and vulnerable children below the age of 18.
It is therefore an organisation of Christians, Philanthropists and Social Workers. Our Social Workers are
registered with the Council of Social Workers and holds a valid practicing certificate.
The Philanthropists are holders of various qualifications with one common goal of changing
the lives of old aged, orphans and vulnerable children for the better. Kubatana Divas Organisation was formed in view of
the increasing numbers of vulnerable children accompanied by the rising levels of poverty resulting
in dysfunctional families, poor parenting and child abuse. Poverty has resulted in many children failing
to access education, some opting to stay and work on the streets whilst others are falling prey to child
marriages particularly the girl child. Boys on the other hand fall prey to negative peer influence resulting
in rampant drug abuse among other social woes. It is against this background that the Organisation was formed to
complement government efforts in combating escalating levels of poverty and offer rehabilitative initiatives
to rescue children and youths and to
restore hope of living in a positive environment which respect human dignity and worth.
To connect people around the world in the fight to end poverty. Working together, we invest in the lives of children, youths and the vulnerable, build the healthy environments they need to thrive, and empower them to create lasting change in their own lives and communities.
